ORChidea Platform for Enrgy Communities
The possibility of using the ORChidea platform in combination with solar thermal and biomass with the relative accumulations makes it particularly suitable for energy communities or for multi-energy systems (Multi-Energy Systems, also called DES District-Energy Systems). These systems integrate energies renewables, various energy networks (gas, electricity, district heating and remote cooling), cogeneration and energy storage. These systems represent one of the most promising solutions for reducing CO2 emissions.

Among various MES systems, it has been shown [*] that the reduction of CO2 emissions by 25% in some application cases such as university campuses, hospitals, group of offices and district heating networks necessarily passes through the implementation of ORC systems.
